What do students do at the museum?

Visitor Services Assistants aid the Education and Visitor Services Manager in the implementation of educational programming and providing a wonderful museum experience for our visitors. They also assist with administrative responsibilities regarding Museum Associates and Volunteers.

Museum Associates are responsible for the day-to-day operations. They serve as both docent and guard - specializing in visitor services while protecting the artwork.

Education Interns assist with tours, program development, and special projects.  They gains skills in arts-based research, educational content creation, curatorial studies, and event management.

Collections Assistants aid in documenting, cataloging, and managing of the museum’s collection. Students learn best practices for handling and storage of the collection, along with assisting in the preparation and installation of exhibitions.

Marketing Interns assists with all aspects of promoting the Museum, including audience development, media research, campaign design, social media marketing, digital advertising, media tracking, data reporting and analysis.
