Past Present

February 11 - March 22, 2025

In the tradition of art making, studying historic artworks has been used as a teaching tool to help students see and think like an artist. Past Present features student artworks that respond to the OSU Museum of Art's Collection. The purpose of this project is not to create a replica of a historic work, but to study, explore, and learn. The experience exposes students to distinct points of view, techniques, and processes, and compels young artists to work outside of their comfort zone.
